Deacons are lay members (men and women) of the Leadership Team (JCLT) and must be a Member of the Church. Deacons are responsible for the administration, operations, and oversight of the ministry of Journey Church. The original occasion leading to the establishment of the office of deacon was that of Acts 6:1-6, I Timothy 3:8-12, and Romans 16.
